Carrie Kinnear is the founder and proprietor of Ocean Waves VA.  After moving back to America from England with her husband Sean, Carrie decided that she really wanted to help people to feel better about themselves and so decided to go to school for Massage Therapy.  She graduated from Virginia Career Institute and then embarked on her new career.  Carrie serves both the Hampton Roads areas and the Greater Richmond area, as she recently moved to Moseley, VA.

Carrie then looked into Canine Massage, as she is extremely passionate about animals and their care.  Carrie received a diploma from the  Equissage School of Massage and became a certified Canine Massage Therapist.  A year later she went back to the Equissage School to learn Equine Massage and received her diploma for that practice as well.  She also practices Feline Massage and had some very willing guinea pigs at the beginning (her own two cats!).  Carrie loves her job and loves the fact that she is helping her fellow living creatures, whether it be human, canine, or feline, everyday.

In her spare time Carrie attends loads of dog fairs and shows and fundraisers.  She loves music and the movies and also loves to read.  Animal Planet is her favorite TV channel.  Her friends and family are very important to her and support her immensely.
